Motorola Launched a brand new Moto G51 like a few days back Motorola Launched Moto G31. it looks like moto is following Realme and Redmi nowadays, Back to back new devices from Motorola.
Moto G51 5G is an interesting phone it's a world-first phone with 480+ snapdragon processors, and this is not a 4 series processor and I don't know why Qualcomm and snapdragon give this processor a 480+ name. and the performance of this processor is like 720 and even in graphics, this 480+ processor is more good than 720g.
Moto G51 Box Content
Inbox we see a device where we find the device comes with a 17.27cm screen and 120Hz display, the smartphone feels tall in hand too. and we see in a box some documentation and sim tool,
we see a 20w charger which is good, why it is a good mean because we find in the global version they are a 10w charger. and a USB to USB Type C Cable. and we see a case also which is already applied on smartphones.
Moto G51 in Hand Feel
It is a tall phone that why does it seems narrow if your hand are average also no problem in holding, but you can use it one hand if your hands are small then they be a problem.
Moto G51 Build Quality
Coming to the build quality of Moto G51, first I thought that the fingerprint in the backside in Moto logo but the fingerprint is side-mounted. the Moto G51 comes with a plastic back and it's a good plastic, and its weight is 208g. but it won't feel like it because it is a tall device.
Moto G51 Ports & Buttons
The ports we see on the side-hand side is a power button with a fingerprint too, a volume rocker, and an assistant button, and on the upside wee a notice canceling mic, on the left-hand side we see a sim tray, and at the bottom, they are a 3.5mm jack, microphone, charging port and speaker grills.
so what kind of options are we going to see in the sim tray, the sim tray comes with a hybrid sim tray where we can use one sim or one sd card or two sims. if it comes with dedicated then it would be better. and if you use one sim and sd card you can expand up to 1TB.
Moto G51 Display
Taking about the Display, the Moto G51 comes with a large display with some broad chin, and it comes with a 6.8" FHD Display with IPS LCD, with 120Hz display.
Generally, Motorola phones come with 6.5, 6.3 to 6 inches. but this Moto G51 is a tall phone, big phone, and Display phone. and comes with NAG Glass protection which is equivalent to gorilla glass 3.
The brightness of the devices is decent it's a good enough brightness. it comes with an IPS display, this thing I like about Motorola is if a person needs a screen-oriented phone they have Moto G31 with an AMOLED display.
If the person looking for a truly 5G smartphone so they launched this one with 12 bands usually see 6 bands 3 bands, but Moto G51 comes with 12 bands under the price of 14,999. so this Moto G51 is really good, and it's an 84% screen to ratio.
Moto G51 Camera
it comes with a punch-hole camera in front with 13MP again at this price point we find an 8MP or 12MP camera in another brand. we get 13MP in Moto G51 where photos are also good and the colors of the pictures are also good.
Coming to the Rear cameras, Motorola said its a quad-camera setup but its a triple camera
a setup where the main camera is 50MP with f/1.8, 8MP wide, and depth with F/2.2, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4
The photos with 50MP were good with the colors and the clean and sharp images, but when we use 8MP wide and depth we find the colors and sharpness became soft in photos. and we get night mode in front and back camera. and you can also get good pics in night mode.
Camera Features - we get all the camera features and we see a pro mode this time where we can click raw pics and there is also a dual-mode where we can take pic or video through the front camera with any sensor of the rear where some of the people going to like this feature.
Moto G51 OS UI
Coming to the OS UI of Moto G51, out of the box it comes with Android 11, and every soon gets the Android 12 too. talking about the MYUX if you read my previous post then you know it's the best of both worlds, one is we get a feel of stock Android and at the same time we can customize it.
Where you can change the colors of fonts change the icon, and want to change the shape of the icons that is all you can do in the MYUX. Gestous mode for double chops for a flashlight or for the camera.
we see a thin shield which is an extra layer of security that is also talking about the security it comes with the latest December security patch.
MOTO G51 Connectivity
one of the good thing I like in this Moto G51 is connectivity where other brands won't look like we see 12 bands of 5G and 4*4 Memo like before it is 2*2 but in the Moto G51 we get 4*4, and it comes with Bluetooth 5.1 and Dual-band WiFi and yes it also has NFC.
Moto G51 Performance
The gamers going to love this phone because this 480+ processor talking about AnTuTu scores 3.20 lakhs, with is equivalent to 720, even we try games on this device on high settings and we won't find any frame drops, even we try Pubg New State which is a graphic intense game at high settings and we won't find any lacks on it.
Because of that 120Hz display and 180Hz touch sampling and big screen really help to play the games.
for games it should be 6GB+128GB variants may be in the future they launched, but at present, it is 4GB RAM + 64GB Internal storage. and the storage type is eUFS which is nearly equivalent to UFS 2.1and LPDDR4 RAM.
I am going to tell you two-three things about this processor 480+ don't go on its name it is not a 4 series it is nearly a 7 series from Qualcomm like that it gives a performance which is good at under 15k. it is an 8Nm processor that means the power-efficient processor
Moto G51 Battery
coming to the battery it comes with the 5000MAH battery with 20w fast charging I think it's decent here.
Moto G51 Other Features
Talking about other features it comes with Widevine L1 support, and you get camera2api support SAR value within limited.
Moto G51 Multimedia
Coming to the multimedia it is a good thing but in the Moto G51, we won't see AMOLED display it comes with an FHD IPS display with 120Hz, in video viewing it is good that that much good, talking about the audio quality is also decent but it is loud but the overall experience is good in Multimedia.
Moto G51 Conclusion
The overall package is good the Moto G51 is a truly 5G device, if you are looking for future proof then definitely go with this Moto G51 5G. but there are some things like display should be AMOLED but the price also goes more, and the fast charging should be 33w. and the 50MP camera is good but the 8MP ultra-wide lens should be more good. and the display should be more bright.
