The Box is black from the inside, as I said the boxes have improved. it comes with a 33w fast charger and USB Type-C cable. and this is under 20k phone. it also has a screen guard some documentation, a sim tool, and a textured case.
Infinix Zero 5G Design
The design of Infinx Zero 5G is eye-catchy. the cosmic black, this reminds me of a flagship phone. the camera Module is a bit raised. and in the different colors of the vegan leather, the name is skylight orange. The design looks flagship-level at least from the back, and the cover fits perfectly.
Infinix Zero 5G In-Hand Feel
The texture feels good in the hand, but it is a fingerprint magnet, but this one is not. This phone is not too big, might feel a bit bog if you have small hands.
Weight - The weight, should be around 195 - 200gms. it weighs 201.1gms
Infinix Zero 5G Ports & Buttons
There's a 3.5mm jack at the bottom, a noise-canceling microphone at the top. A fingerprint sensor at the right is also an on and off button.
The sim card tray is on the left which has a dedicated sim card slot and you can also put 2 nano sim cards.
Infinix Zero 5G Display
The display is good, though it is not an AMOLED display, the screen is 6.78" FHD+ with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240hz Touch sampling rate.
It has NEG Dino rex screen protection which is equivalent to gorilla glass 3 and the screen-body ratio is 92%. so the bezels are slim and the chin is average. it has a center punch hole with an average cutout.
Infinix Zero 5G Performance
The biggest highlight of this phone is the performance, it has a Dimensity 900 5G processor. Infinix has tested their 5G with Jio and Airtel and Infinix claims they've been successful. It also supports 13 5G bands.
It has UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR 5 RAM. and because of this, the AnTuTu score was nearly Rs 480K.
we also ran some benchmarks other than AnTuTu, and it gives a sustained performance. So if you use high-performance apps or games you should not have any problems. you can play BGMI at Ulta settings and we got 60fps.
The 240Hz TSR helps as well. we also played CODM which you can play on high and very high settings with around 45fps. so the gaming performance was good and sustained.
The haptic feedback was quite average.
Variant - It only has one variant of 8GB +128GB for Rs 19,999.
Infinix Zero 5G Camera
It has a triple camera setup, the primary sensor is 48Mp, 13Mp Telephoto, no ultra-wide, and 2Mp Depth sensor.
The colors tones of the photos are good, but I found them a bit soft. the selfie sensor is 16Mp with good skin tones, But the processing is a bit too much, they look soft, I'll show them on the screen tell us what you guys think.
Features like slow motion at 960fps are added, there's also an AR mode where you click photos are videos with cartoon filters. it also has Bokeh mode which usually doesn't get. it also has a 30x zoom.
Boy one thing is good it supports 4K 30fps at the front as well as at the back. This is a great start by Infinix, this is the first 5G Phone.
Infinix Zero 5G Battery
It has a 5000MAH battery with 33w charging, the processor is 6nm based which is a power-efficient processor it can last more than a day.
Infinix Zero 5G OS UI
It comes on XOS 10, which is based on Andriod 11. we asked Infinix about the update, and they did not commit but Android 12 is a work in progress.
It also has a gaming mode called DarLink 2.0. it also has a power marathon mode which gives you 25% more battery. It also has 5GB virtual RAM and you can adjust that from 3 to 5GB.
Infinix Zero 5G Sensor & Connectivity
The side-mounted fingerprint is fast, the face unlocks works well as well. it has 13 bands with DSDS so you'll be able to run 5G on both sims. it has WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, dual 4G VOLTE.
One thing that was surprising was that it has widevine L3, SAR values are within limits. has FM radio but no notification light and IP certification.
Infinix Zero 5G Multimedia
Even if it has an IPS display, the viewing angles are quite good, generally, the colors turn black from a certain angle but not in this one. the audio seems average.
Infinix Zero 5G Conclusion
The design and performance were the 2 big highlights. The camera should've been better, and it also has pre-installed apps, so those are some areas where it needs improvement.
