Vivo surprises us every now and then, last year they launched the Z1x and according to me, it was the best budget mid-range phone which was just available online.
now they're surprising us with their new series T, this is Vivo T1 5G we going to see full specifications and what packs in Vivo T1 5G.
Vivo T1 5G Box Content
It comes in a white box, generally, the boxes are colorful, at the top we find paperwork or some documentation and a case, looking at the case it seems like the sides are gonna be flat, and the case is good quality.
A USB Type-c cable, type A - type C charging cable, a sim card tool, and finally the 18W charging brick.
Let me tell you guys that this phone is going to cost under Rs 20k it will cost around Rs 16 to 17k.
Vivo T1 5G In-Hand Feel
The sides are flat, and feel good in the hand, I like the multicolor designs and it has a plastic back. the sim card tray is at the top there's a 3.5mm jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The case quality is good and fits snuggly. The sim tray has a hybrid sim card slot, and the base variant is 128GB.
Weight - It feels like it weighs around 185g, but the weight is 187.9g. Not very heavy or light.
Vivo T1 5G Display
It has a waterdrop notch, and the display is a 6.58" IPS LCD with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, and 240Hz TSR (Touch Sampling Rate), so it is not an AMOLED screen.
The viewing angles are Okayish. and the screen-to-body ratio is 90.6%. the bezels and chin are average.
Vivo T1 5G Specification
It comes on Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 which is a 6 nm-based 5g Processor. sp it is a capable processor. it also has an LPDDR4x RAM type and UFS 2.2 storage.
The AnTuTu score really surprised me, it was around 412k. which I think is really good considering it is a mid-range phone and you notice the difference while gaming, we played COD on very high settings and the experience was really smooth.
We played BGMI on HD and high settings and we really enjoyed it. The 240Hz TSR and the Processor are really great.
This never really happens, the AnTuTu Score is more than what Vivo claimed, they claimed that it was 405k and we got 412k, this does not happen often.
It has 4GB of virtual RAM. All the sensors are there, and the side-mounted fingerprint works really fast.
Variants - It comes in 3 varains, 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB.
Vivo T1 5G Battery
It weighs 187gms, and I really like that it has a 5000MAH battery. and with the 6nm processor, it can easily last up to 2 days or so it has 18w charging, 30w would've been better.
Vivo T1 5G Camera
The Camera of Vivo phones are good, the primary sensor is 50MP, and the rest two sensor are 2MP +2MP, so no Ultra-wide. The photos of primary sensors come out really good, photos of the rest of the cameras are not even worth mentioning,
There's a 16MP with f/2.0 camera in the waterdrop notch, they come out good under normal conditions. so even though it is a budget phone the photos are good just of the primary and selfie sensor.
it also has a super night mode, so even in low light, you can click bright photos. The back camera is capped at 1080p 60fps. There is no 4K.
Vivo T1 5G Multimedia
It has got a big IPS LCD screen which is good quality so the video viewing experience is going to be good. The Mono Speakers are loud and of good quality as well.
The 3.5mm jack is also there, we don't see much of them nowadays so you can use wired earphones.
Vivo T1 5G Connectivity
The Connectivity, this has 5G, but it only supports 2 bands, Dual 4G VOLTE, Bluetooth 5.1 with dual-band WiFi.
Vivo T1 5G OS & UI
The big thing that other brands are not implementing is it has FunTouchOS 12 Out of the box which is based on Andriod 12, There are some pre-installed apps that you can uninstall.
Vivo T1 5G Features
The other features are widevine L1 and camera 2API are also there with SAR value as well. There's FM radio, no notification light, and IP certification.
Vivo T1 5G Conclusion
so to sum it up the phone is not a camera-centric phone it is a performance-based phone. so there were 2 to 3 things surprising about this phone, firstly the waterdrop notch should've been a hole punch.
On the positive side, the performance really surprised me, and even though it doesn't have an AMOLED display it is really good. The display and performance are the highlights. and generally, we don't get Andriod 12 under Rs 20k but you get it on this phone and the design looks perfect too.
The cons were the only 2 5G bands supporting, cameras were average and the fast charging should've been more as well.
