Infinix Zero Ultra Box Content
When we open this silver box. there is a 180W Thunder charge. There is a new word in charging: Thunder charge. Was there any brand that had thunder charge before? there is silver everywhere.
The phones of 2023 are going to feel very good in hand, very premium. This is no different. It feels like that, too. "180W thunder charge. Explore beyond."
There is documentation first. There are so many documents. Documentation. SIM card tool. They also give you a scratch guard.
"Win an ultra-rare special edition NFT." You'll also get an NFT with this. So, there are many things & a SIM card tool. It has a plain case. TPU case. It is of an okay-ish quality. the power brick or charger is huge & the 180W charger is looking powerful.
The charging is 180W, This brick is big. 180W. a USB type-c to 3.5mm adapter which means there is no 3.5mm jack in this phone. And the good thing is that there is a USB type-C to a type-C charging cable. One thing about the charger is that you can charge a laptop with this. This is a power delivery charger.
Infinix Zero Ultra Design
White! There is a texture. this is the glass back. We love the design. It's unique & subtle but at the same time, you can feel it when you take it in hand. And this is a glass-back.
If you see the front, it is curved glass. Beautiful in-hand feel. If I talk about the weight distribution, it is very good. Its display & size is big but even then it doesn't seem heavy.
It seems like it's 180g. Alright. 180g. but the weight of this Infinix Zero Ultra is 212 g! In hands, it doesn't seem that much, the weight distribution is beautiful. I mean kudos to Infinix for that. For sure.
By the way, the battery is of 4500mAh not even 5000mAh. So, if you see the actual weight then it sure is a little bit more.
Infinix Zero Ultra Display
The display is big. its display is a 6.8" FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. If you see the quality, it's really good. The aspect ratio is good. The side bezels are very very thin. The top, not the chin, and the top bezels are really thin. The chin is also really thin.
Definitely, if you see it from the front. Let me reduce the brightness. By the way, the brightness is 900 nits.
If you see from the front, it definitely looks like a modern phone. The screen-to-body ratio is really good for this. And it supports HDR 10. But not on Netflix, we tested it, Not on Netflix but you can see it on YouTube.
Infinix Zero Ultra Ports & Buttons
Talking about the ports & buttons, there is no 3.5mm jack in this. Alright, there is a dual SIM card slot in this. By the way, on the top, there is a stereo speaker grill & noise-canceling microphone.
Infinix Zero Ultra Specifications
If I talk about the specifications, it comes on the Dimensity 920 6nm processor. The battery is 4500mAh. And 180W charging which goes 0-50% in 7 minutes & 0-100% in 18 minutes. So, there is super fast charging, definitely.
This is definitely the fastest-charging phone from Infinix. By the way, the price of the box is ₹50,000. And there is only one variant: 8GB RAM & 256GB storage.
So, there is no problem even though it doesn't have a dedicated SD card slot. 256GB is enough.
Infinix Zero Ultra Sensors
Talking about the sensors, all the sensors are present. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor & face unlock. So, that's all & they work very very well.
Infinix Zero Ultra Connectivity
Talking about connectivity, it has 12 5G bands. It means it'll support all the bands available in India. And we've tested that.
There is Wi-fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual 4G VoLTE, and Wi-Fi Calling. So, on the matter of connectivity, there is everything.
Infinix Zero Ultra 5G Speed Test
The speed test. we get the 898 or nearly 900Mbps is its speed. So, 910Mbps! I don't know why but in Jio the upload speed always comes at 40-50Mbps. So, that's about it.
Infinix Zero Ultra Multimeida
Talking about multimedia. 900nits brightness, curved AMOLED display, it's very good. The colors look really good. Surprisingly, the quality of the stereo speakers is very good. They are loud & the quality is good, too. So, for multimedia, this is excellent.
Infinix Zero Ultra Features
Talking about all the other features, there is support for Widevine L1, and Camera2 API, there is FM Radio & the SAR values are within limits. There are 2-3 things, I'm talking about the features.
One, there is the TÜV Rheinland certification. There is another certification that your phone will run fluidly for 36 months. That's the TÜV certification. This is the first time, I'm hearing about this.
One more thing, there is some safety feature in the big brick charger. There won't be any overcurrent passing through it. So, the phone gets slightly heated while charging.
Infinix Zero Ultra Performance
Talking about performance, the Dimensity 920, especially in gaming, you can play on medium-high settings & you get 40fps consistently in Infinix Zero Ultra.
Whatever games you play BGMI, COD Mobile, you'll get 40fps. It's smooth gameplay. Dimensity 920 is pretty good. You can multitask easily. So, on the matter of performance, it's quite good. But again it's not flagship performance but the mid-range.
But at the same time, I want to say that if you play for long sessions, you may notice throttling. the Antutu Score of Infinix Zero Ultra is 488473.
So, play for a short period of time like 15-30 minutes then you'll get absolutely smooth gameplay.
Infinix Zero Ultra OS
Let's talk about the OS. XOS 12 is present which is based on Android 12. One thing has become better. I used to say that Infinix phones have a lot of bloatware.
They've reduced the bloatware but it comes on Android 12. If it was Android 13, it would be better. Not only that, they've promised major updates for 1 year.
So, you'll get Android 13 not more than that. You'll also get security updates for 2 years. there is OIS. Optical Image Stabilization. So, the low-light pictures, are better.
Infinix Zero Ultra Camera
Coming to the camera. The primary sensor is 200MP. It's a triple camera setup of 200MP+13MP(ultrawide)+2MP. And in the front, the center punch hole is 32MP.
The photos, in normal conditions the photos turn out okay. If you click in ultrawide, I'll say it's slightly on the softer side. But overall, the colors & dynamic range are good.
Talking about videography, it is 200MP, I was at least expecting 4K 60fps. There is 4K but it is 30fps. You can click HDR videos & dual-view videos.
The front camera is 32MP which clicks better-than-average photos. So, the camera setup is okay.
Infinix Zero Ultra Stands out
If I talk about the things that stand out in this phone, so it is obviously 180W charging. The display is curved. there will be curved displays in mid-range & upper mid-range phones. So, that is the same here.
Talking about the name, rather than Ultra, it should've been Pro+. Ultra, we generally associate with the flagship. This is, I'll say, premium mid-range. So, this is the Infinix Zero Ultra.
